Issue Overveiw
This Issue we Herald the return of Malcome Earl as Inker, wich is peachy-keen
with me. The Team of Tamar and Max comes up with some of the best
art in the seireis. The art and lettering in this issue take a strong
step in the right direction. By this time anyone who read the other
three issues is hooked, and thanks to a summary page in the begining this
is also a good issue for beginers to step in. The action really heats
up in this issue, and we start seeing some serios tail-kicking.
Page four Frame Five
Look closely at this readout, you can learn bore about the base.
it seems it's acutaly a ship burried underneath what apears to be an abandoned
building. Look closely at the wondow Labeled "Ship Specs" the foreward
section is Marked: "Hunted/Chip Bay" I assume this was intended to read
"Hunter/Shipbay"
Page Five frame One
Cameo by an ashcan character, named "Battlecat" I belive the
Girafe being shot is also an unused character, but I'm not sure.
Page Five Frame Five
Here we see B'jer useing an incarnation of his power we don't see much,
the ability to blend into shadows, even with that horrible suit, Ick.
Also, I wonder if the line "I'm more than meets the eye beast" is a reference
to "Beast Wars"
Page Seven Frame Two
The chamber on that Pistol is huge, waht does that sucker fire?
Five-pound shells?
Page Nine Frame Five
"Mount off Tail Wagger" would be Humanimal for "F**k off Slut!"
Page Nine Frame Six
This is a good veiw of how Tamar uses a "Wrinkled Muzzle" to signify
anger. The Muscles at the top of the muzzle tence like that when
a Dog/Cat pull back their upper lip to expose thair fangs. Take it
in boys, you'll never get this close to Scarlet when she's this angy wihtout
getting your arms torn off.
Page Thirteen Frames Two and Three
Max here dousn't look what exactly he's holding on to. Watch
Kat's face in the background, classic.
Page Fourteen Frame Four
One thing Tamar does well, is action, this frame prooves it.
The entire scene has incredible movement, just form angles were know where
each charcter is headed and what their doing. Comic action is an
art in itself, almost something you've gotta be born with rather than develop.
Page Eighteen Frame Five
I was confuised by this fram at first, the speetch baloon at the top
of the frame that reads "Scarlet! Scarlet!" apears to be spoken by three
people because of the three points. The points are actualy the jetstreams
of the Omega Hunters takeing off. The speech Baloon is Micro calling
Scalert on the wrist com.
Page Nineteen Frame Five
This is the last we see of Bajer, hopefully it won't be the last.
I may badmouth the guy, but he's a good villan.
Page Twenty Frame Six
Does anyone else think it's kinda funny how Warfare shouts: "No! No
one else will Die!" As he Rips the head off the Mahndroid.
Page Twenty-One Frame Five
He he he, Sly just dousn't get it.
Page Twenty-Two Frame One
More Ashcan Charcters make a Cameo here. Battlecat agian in the
foreground, the pretty little Vixen in the doorway is Vixahn Blackfox
aka Pain. The bat is also an unused character, but i don't know his
name.
Page Twenty-One Frame Three
You'll find out who's kit this is next issue, I wonder when he'll make
another apearence?
Page Twenty-Five Frame Three
Another Cameo by the Ashcan Crew, Battlecat again in the Background,
Painin the foreground (I'd like to lots more of her,) and the ferret woman
who took care of teh Kit mentioned Earlyer.
Page Twenty-Five Frame Four
The Mahndroud re-apears after being torn to shreds by Warfare, this
gives me the idea that it is self-repairing and might re-apear later in
the series. In any case it's kinda tough to bouce back from getting
your head torn off, so we know this things gotta be tough.
Page Twenty-Nine Frame Two
Thomas here is seen carrying the helmet he wore when he was in his
Mecha-Roo suit. I'm wodering where the rest of it is, is it built
into what he's wearing now, or stored somewhere?
Page Thirty-Two Frame one
WE see in this fram how Shawtae, unlike some less expeirnced artists,
stick with his Character Models. Phenix is six feet tall (Tall for
a Woman) and dwarfs the average-sized Fela sisters here.
Page Thirty-two Frame Eight
Look at the Lower right corner, the scrolling Text box is unused.
The shape is most commonly used for the text "end". The final page
of this comic was most likely an afterthought. It explains that it
will take a little while for the REAL noah Adahm mahn to get to Alden.
Page Thirty-Three
First of all, this page, being an afterthought dousn't seem to be inked
by Malcome Earl. If I had to bet on who did the inking for this final
page I'd say Tamar himself, becuase of the thick lines and thin shadeing.
Malcome's inks are mutch mutch tighter, and the shades are more complete.
Page Thirty-Three Frame Three
We see the Real Nosh Adahm Mahn here, and there are a few diference
between him and the Mhndroid: 1. The scar across his left eye 2. A thinner
face and body and 3. No hair on the top of his head.
